Afro Peruvian Guitar Clinic 11/14/11
The clinic will discuss a number of different guitar styles from the costal music of Peru (afro Peruvian). Styles such as Valse, Zamacueca, Marinera, Lando, Festejo and Panalivio will be emphasized. We will also highlight how they relate to each other and how to apply them to modern harmony and improvisation.
